We not only have the Prime Viewing Spot for the upcoming TOTAL SOLAR ECLIPSE in the mid-Willamette Valley, but, we also have the MOST reasonable prices on campsites for this once-in-a-lifetime event!
We have decide to open up our 11 acre field in addition to our….Private Rural Property in the quiet country just east of Stayton, Or. The edge of our property is LITERALLY steps to Centerline of the Path of Totality which will start at 10:17 am on Monday August 21st and will last for 2min 1sec…!!
We have 15+ tent spaces in our park-like yard on our beautiful country property, access to bathroom with shower, awesome fire pit area and 2 grills will be fired up for everyone’s use Sunday night. In addition, we will have a number of sites available in the field…we will place reservations closest to the house first and when that’s full, we will start placing reservations in the field. Campers placed in the field will have separate bathroom and handwashing facilities but not access to showers. We also heard a rumor that traffic will be super crazy and they will be shutting down traffic for a period of time on all the highways etc. the day of…So, there are a couple benefits to reserving NOW.
Availability is for the 19th and 20th, Sat. and Sun. nights. Price is $175 for Sunday night only and $250 for both nights, check-out is loose on Monday after Totality…no set time…just head out sometime before I have to charge ya for an extra night. We will have space for a few RV’s for Sun. night the 20th only (size restrictions do apply) and there is no dumping or hookups, so be ready to fire up your gens. ~ Price is $200 for the night and must pay full amount at time of reservation. Tent sites have a 50% down requirement at time of reservation, $50 non- refundable. The remaining 50% will be due by July 1st. All payments will be accepted through PayPal. Any cancellations must be made by July 1st as well, all monies paid will not be refunded on cancellations made after July 1st.
(Please note that there is no 50% down during this extension period-requirement is full payment at time of reservation. Cancellation policy remains the same except that the cancellation deadline is changed to August 1st. These changes only apply to new reservations. Thank you.)
Respond to this ad by email to see pictures of the property and to make reservations, get info etc. Pets may be allowed on an individually approved basis. Basically, we have 2 dogs and want to be sure that your pet will not infringe on their quality of life or safety. Very private and chill place, we have a coded security gate, so very safe. Tent sites closest to the house are in a beautiful shady treed area. Field sites are open-air. Ample parking. 420 friendly.
* We encourage anyone who plays guitar or other acoustic instruments; bongos, banjo, fiddle, flute to bring them along for impromptu jamming ’round the campfire.
