#3:  Many misconceptions surround eclipses.  Some people don’t understand the difference between a partial solar eclipse and a total solar eclipse.  But if you ever actually see the glorious sight of totality, you will never forget!  Millions of Americans will know the difference after Monday, August 21, 2017, the first coast-to-coast total solar eclipse in a century.  And today’s young generation of Americans — GENERATION ECLIPSE — will become experts after seeing FIVE total solar eclipses over the USA in the next 35 years!

Generation Eclipse is an educational comic strip feature by Jay Ryan, in the style of his SkyWise astronomy comic strip. Everyone is encouraged to share this strip in its original, unmodified form on their website and in social media, to help promote the eclipse.
